"nude dudes" in bronze

Picture
Carol Schumacher has been sculpting using materials found in and around her home in Teaneck, New Jersey since the age of 11. "I started with onion grass and twigs and things, making birds, insects and animals", she says. She started learning the process of the lost wax method of bronzing at "The Elizabet Ney Museum" in Austin Texas in 1996, "...and I fell in love with metal.", she says.
Her first piece made to share was a small 3" "nude dude" in bronze. She made them detailed, yet small so that she could price them low enough for the general public to have access to sculptural art. She creates her version of antique "old century" vases or amphoras and always hides her signature "nude dude" somewhere on the piece.
She limits each casting to 9 pieces, as boredom takes over or as seeing a better more extravagant way to express her work drives her to create a new piece. Although she said that she will always try to have 3" nude dudes available.

Today bronze nude dudes are $125.00 plus shipping  and come dressed in a leaf and presented in a fancy box ribboned with wax seal.  Order yours today! Carol 512 303-5648  carolthesculptor@gmail.com
